What counts as a download? Is it if the whole album or EP is downloaded, or only if 1 track is? What about streaming, does that count as a download?

Right now, if someone goes to the details page and then clicks through on _any_ file link, no matter what, the counter will increase by one. If people directly download a file without going to the details page, it won't show up.

Are there plans to change this in the future? I'd love to know the 'real' number of donwloads (including those from my own site).

If not, how do people monitor individual downloads on their sites?
